Ruth E. Schmit, at the age of 92, went home to be with our Lord very peacefully on Friday September 13, 2024, with her daughters around her. Ruth was a trained RN and her nursing skills were known to all around her. Her smile and kindness will be missed. She is preceded in death by her husband William R. Schmit and daughter Mary Schmit, her brother James Perrin and his wife Barbara Perrin. She is survived by her daughters Amy, Rebecca and Carol Stec, her grandsons Matthew (& wife Angela) Stec and Timothy Stec, as well as her sister Amy Gores and her husband Robert Gores, and many extended family.

Memorial service will be at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 N Arcade St, St Paul, MN 55106, on Sept 28th, 2024, visitation will be at 10:00am, service at 11:00am, light luncheon to follow.
