Obituary of Dr. Robert Gibson

Dr Robert “Bob” Gibson, age 92 went home peacefully to be with the Lord, on September 24th, 2024. He lived a full life, and desired to please the Lord in all things! He naturally served others in many ways, teaching, coaching, interim pastor, music minister, Mission trips and everyday projects! Bob enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, golf and walks along the beach. He loved his family well and will be dearly missed! He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Adah, brothers Chuck and Bruce, sister Eunice, wife Delores, son Gordy. Survived by his present wife, Karen, daughter Connie (Tom) Adelsman, son Dave (Wendy), daughter-in-law Bonnie Gibson, 11 grandkids and 28 great-grandkids! A service to honor Bob will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024, at First Evangelical Free Church, 2696 Hazelwood St, Maplewood, MN 55109. Visitation at 10 am, service at 11 am followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made payable to: NCF “The Gospel Advancing Movements Fund” that will benefit several ministries important to Bob.
