Janice Anderson Obituary
Jan loved to entertain! When she was young, she and Don were having dinner parties all the time. Our family also had a cabin on Borden Lake that we enjoyed for almost 12 years. They loved being up north on the lake and having people up there too. She was a very young widow, at the age of 51 she became a mom and a dad to her 3 children. She went back to work a year later. She worked at Presbyterian Homes in Roseville and Bloomington, before she got her long standing job at Wells Fargo Investments where she stayed almost 20 years before she retired in May of 2010. She loved her job, we always said it kept her young! She was the first person people met when they came in the door. She made many friends and was able to listen to many stories and tell a few of her own. Her interests included: antiquing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, shopping, traveling, attending every event for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, meeting anyone and everyone for coffee. Jan LOVED people. She loved hearing everyone's stories. She was very joyful, had a beautiful smile and loved life. Her love of life was a reflection of her love for her Savior. Jan was preceded in death by husband Donald. She is survived by her daughters Mary Beth (Bruce) Hendrickson, Carol (Charles) Zellie; son Doug (Vickie) Anderson; grandchildren: Brandy (Jim), Lindsey (Donald), Katie (Brad), Laura (Brendan), Amy, Rachel, Anna and Jacob; sister Sharon (Scott) Kron; nephew Ryan (Colleen); nieces Sarah, Angela (Preston), and great nephews Isaiah and Abram. Memorials preferred to North Heights Christian Academy, Emmaus Road Reformed Church or Billy Graham Evangelical Association.
