Obituary of Gladys Gores

Beloved Wife, Mom, Sister & "Nanny" Age 70 Passed away peacefully on April 18, 2014 while surrounded by her loving children after a long, courageous fight with cancer. Preceded in death by husband Mark, daughter Theresa Grohsman, granddaughter June Mary, parents Jack and Mary Harding, brothers Jack and Patrick. Survived by children John (Jolene), Joseph (Sandy), Steven (Schelly), Michael (Kelli), Frances (Steve) and Eugene (Amy); grand-children Emalee, Mark, Jared, Caden, Cecilia, Grayson and Jeremy; siblings Jim (Beth), Mary Wiltshire (Gord Senior), Barbara Baird (Gord), Margaret Churchill, Sandra Wade, Brian (Karen), Andy (Val), Jacqueline Mair (Dennis), Paul (Sue), Darrin, Toni Doyle (Robert), Elizabeth Maddox; sisters-in-law Patricia and Dorothy. Recently retired from St. Paul Public School System after 25+ years educating special needs children. A proud Newfoundlander, world traveler and fitness enthusiast, who cherished family ties and friends alike. She will be greatly missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM on Wednesday, April 23 at CHURCH OF ST CASIMIR, 934 Geranium Ave E., St Paul. Visitation 4-8 PM on April 22 at ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61) and on Wednesday at church 1 hour before Mass. Interment Fort Snelling. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
