Obituary of Helen Smith

Beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend On April 23, 2014, after a long and wonderful life, returned home to be with the rest of the angels in heaven. Preceded in death by her mother, Selma Bogdan; father, Charles Bogdan; brother, Walter Bogdan; sister, Mary Mike; daughter, Jacqueline Anderson; and many friends and relatives. Survived by daughters, Rosemary Laatsch, Phyllis Keating; sons, Robert (Dawn) Smith, Stephen (Cathy) Carlson; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Helen was the heartbeat and soul of her family and sacrificed her own worldly pleasures to give unselfishly to her family and friends. Helen's love for Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother Mary guided her through the rivers raging tides and many time of hardship and pain. She now adds the brightness of heaven for all eternity. Many thanks to the family members for the loving care and compassion shown during the past several weeks. Your selfless efforts to make Helen's final days comfortable and peaceful will not soon be forgotten. Visitation Sunday, April 27 from 4-7 PM at ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 1401 Arcade St (Hwy 61), St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM on Monday, April 28 at CHURCH OF ST. CASIMIR, Forest & Jessamine Ave, St. Paul. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
