Born in St. Paul, raised in Barronett, WI. Longtime teacher at Nokomis Elementary School in St. Paul. Preceded in death by parents, August & Wilhimina; brothers, Elmer, Roy, Robert & Edmond; sisters, Ellen & Alice; nieces, Joan Hunziker & Marilyn Wahman. Survived by nephew Bud Bodin (Betsey) and nieces Lyn Connelly (Cyril) , Susan Smith & Karen Rosa (Bob); nephew, Glenn Wahman; many great nieces & great-nephews. Memorial Service Monday October 13th 11:00 at St. Paul Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1935 Princeton Ave, St. Paul where Ruth served as elder. Memorials preferred to the church. Private internment. The family would like to thank Ramsey County Care Center in Maplewood for their kindness and compassion while taking care of Ruth.
