Obituary of Joan Rafferty

Joan Rafferty, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 27th, 2014. Joan was born in St. Catharines, Ontario and was a proud Canadian to the very end. In 2010, Joan moved to St. Paul from the Upper Peninsula to be closer to family. She was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Sunfish Lake. Each week Congregants generously took her to and from church. Her last year was spent at Episcopal Homes in St. Paul where she was cared for and loved by staff. She is survived by her sons William (Jill), Michael, Robert (Elke), David (Deb), and her grandchildren Christopher, Benjamin, and Leah. A memorial service will be held in Lee Chapel at Episcopal Church Homes, 1879 Feronia Ave, St. Paul, on Saturday, December 6th at 2:00 PM. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Marquette, the Children's Museum of Marquette, or Episcopal Church Homes of St. Paul.
