Of Saint Paul, Minnesota Born February 24, 1917 Passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years on December 6, 2014. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Valborg Becklund; 3 brothers, Ewald, Curtis & Fred Brewitz; husbands, Murl Rygg & John Kwiatkowski. Gudrun is survived by 3 children, Susan Beebe (Greg); Mike Rygg (Rosemary) & Jeff Rygg (Kim); 2 granddaughters, Andrea Freisen (Jody) & Dawn Kirchoff (Chris); 4 great-grandchildren, Breanna & Blake Friesen and Alex & Ava Kirchoff; many extended relatives, nieces, nephews & friends. Funeral Service 10AM Thursday at ARLINGTON HILLS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 759 County Road B East in Maplewood where she was a lifelong member. Visitation 1 hour before the service at church. Interment Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Project Welcome Home Troops (c/o Mike Rygg) or Arlington Hills Church. Thank you to all the caregivers at the Ramsey County Care Center for their loving kindness.
