Preceded in death by parents, Anthony & Helena Grochowski; sister, Frances (Kevin) Burns; brother, Walter (Agnes) & Joseph. Survived by children: Christine (Rick) Zabel and her daughters, Katie & Elizabeth (Adam) Slinger; Mary (Jeff) Badowich and her children, Melissa (Jason) Gibbs, Ben & Jillian; William (Sharon) and his children, James (Sarah) & Bradley Milon, Ashley (Shawn) Monahan & Kelsey (Jacob) Moga; Rosemarie (John) Lose and her daughters, Jennifer, Becky & Sarah; Tom (Michelle) and his children, Danielle & Matt. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Sister Mary Hilarion; sisters-in-law, Betty Grochowski & Marcie (Lenny) Koneczny; many loving nieces & nephews. Helen was a longtime Eastside resident. She worked at Dayton's, St. Joseph's Hospital and Eastside caterers Harriet Miller & Lillian Larson. She was a lifelong member of St. Casimir's Parish and the Altar & Rosary Society & the Polish American Club. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 10 at CHURCH OF ST. CASIMIR, 934 E. Geranium Ave (Hwy 61), St. Paul, with visitation at church 1 1/2 hours prior to Mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
