2/23/1918-9/7/2015. Pre-deceased by wife of 66 years, Helen (Pierson) Cox, and brothers, William & Albert. Survived by children, Miriam (Ronald) Peterson, William Cox & George Cox; granddaughters, Amy Fisher (Dan) and Kelsey Midthun (Joe); great-grandchildren, Peter, Leo, Timothy, Linus Fisher & Elaina Midthum; brother Charles Donald Cox in Virginia & half-sister Linda Maple in Ohio. Ken was born in Manchester, Ohio. He served actively in the Navy for nine years and then in the reserves. He worked until his retirement at the St. Paul Insurance Companies. He loved being a Boy Scout and leader for over 60 years. His passions were writing his memories of 1800 pages and keeping the family's genealogy. A Memorial Service will be held 11am Wednesday at GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1669 N. Arcade St. (hwy 61), St. Paul. Memorials to Boy Scout Troop 25 of GA or Gustavus Adolphus. Private Interment Union Cemetery.
