Age 95. Died September 17, 2015. Staff Sargeant in the Army Air Forces during World War II. Born in St Paul, MN to Peter J and Louse Ann (Bearth) Gobely on June 7, 1920. Preceded in death by parents and siblings Bernice Jacobson and Mary Sroka. Also preceded in death by loving wife, Lea (Gregory) Gobely (May 28, 2014). He lived and worked in Anoka from 1955 until 1999. After retiring they spent their time in Flordia and Hudson, WI. He is survived by 4 daughters: Linda (Dan), Luanne (Scott), Laurie (Chuck) and Lanelle (Dave); 8 grandchildren: Brooke (Eric), Erin Kellie (Alex), Kim (Dave) Heather (Jeff), Jessica (DJ), Tom (Tanya), Derek (Kelsey), Devin; 18 great-grandchildren, Henry, Millie and Howie, Calvin, Preston, Jude, Laurence and Edward, Dani, Nick and Katie, Elly and Will, Austen, Quentin and Olivia, Taden and Tenlea; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Jack and Alice. He enjoyed a long, happy and healthy life and they both are missed.
