Age 90 of St. Paul. WWII Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by wives, Esther Nereson & Alice Johnson; parents Fred & Anna; sister, Gladys (Marvin) Engel; brother, Fred (Arlene); step sons, Alan Johnson & Bill Nereson. Survived by step-daughters, Ann Marie (Donald) Elstad, Carole MacCarter (Kody Kohlman); step-grand & great-grandchildren; nieces, Judy (Richard) Thomalla & Arlene Kay (Mike) Christensen; nephew Dennis (Marion) Franz. Roger was a 39 year employee of NW Bell, US West. He was a Navy Vet of WWII serving in the Pacific theater aboard the U.S.S. Whitney. Funeral Service 11am Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, 4000 Linden St, White Bear Lake with visitation one hour before the service. Luncheon to follow. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to your favorite charity.
