Age 94, of St. Paul. Donald served in the Army during World War II as a part of the 243rd field artillery battalion. He retired from Brown & Bigelow after 35 years of employment. Preceded in death by parents, Ezra & Olga; infant son, William; granddaughter, Sarah. Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Lucille; children, Diane Parker, Richard (Terry) & James (Connie); 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Dona (Clair) Haberman. Visitation from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 1401 Arcade St, St. Paul (Hwy 61), St. Paul. Funeral service at 11 AM on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1669 Arcade St (Hwy 61), St. Paul, with an additional visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff at the Minneapolis VA Hospital for their care. Memorials preferred to Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church.
