I knew Dianne at St. Olaf College. Dianne participated in activities involving the international student community. She had some nice Norwegian costumes and I borrowed one once for some Norwegian folk dancing. Dianne was kind and considerate and had a ready smile. It is really too bad that she suffered from cancer and had a way too short life. Although short, I think she lived a life of kindness and dignity.

I was so sad to hear of Dianne's passing - Dianne's beautiful spirit and generous nature will be missed by her family and friends, including me. I feel privileged to have known Dianne and my sincere condolences go out to her family. Take care.
