Obituary of Margaret Klas

Age 85, of St. Paul, Minnesota. Formerly of St. Louis Park. Died on April 8, 2013 Wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret was born on July 13, 1927 in Minneapolis to Absalom and Kitty (Dahl) Erdahl. She graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis in 1945. She attended Fairview Hospital School of Nursing graduating in 1948. She had a 38 year career as a registered nurse and retired from Harmony Nursing Home in St. Paul. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and was active at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in St. Paul. During her retirement years, she enjoyed volunteering at several area nursing homes. She was preceded in death by husbands Alonzo Moe and Harold Klas and parents Absalom and Kitty (Dahl) Erdahl. She is survived by daughters Nancy Moe Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio and Karen Moe of St. Paul; grandchildren Laura Johnson, Layton Johnson, Sean (Lindsay) Greenlee and Sandra Greenlee; great-grandchild Camden Carey. Private family services. Interment Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Special thanks to the Lighthouse of Mahtomedi and St. Croix Hospice. Margaret and her family appreciated the loving care bestowed upon us.
