Age 93, of St. Paul. Longtime Eastside Resident. Passed away peacefully on April 10, 2013. Preceded in death by husband Roy "Pinky"; parents Walter and Agnes (Nordstrom) Fosnes; sisters Carol (Vern) Loberg and May (Burton) Gustafson. Survived by brother Carl (Janice) Fosnes; children Daniel (Barbara) Bomgren, Marcia (Michael) Bussey and Walter (Vickie) Bomgren; grandchildren Rebecca (Alex) Estrada, Joseph Bomgren, Rachel Bomgren, Michael Bomgren, Deborah Bomgren, Matthew (Dawn) Bussey, Andrew (Lauren) Bussey, John Bussey, Brian (Angela) Bomgren, David (Amanda) Bomgren, Timothy Bomgren and Amy Bomgren; great-grandchildren Isaac Estrada, Hannah Estrada, Roman Bomgren, Ella Bomgren, Soren Bussey and Georgianna Bussey. Fern was a longtime member of Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church and the Eastside YMCA. Memorials preferred to Young Life or GA Church. The family of Fern Bomgren wishes to thank the staff of the Woodbury Health Care Center for their devoted care of Fern during the last four years.
