Age 95, passed away January 11, 2017 surrounded by loved ones at HealthEast Pillars Hospice Home in Oakdale, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mary Peterson; husband, Donald F.; brother Richard J. Peterson. Survived by her children Elizabeth (Mark) Odegard, Kathleen Y. Whitley, Pamela, Steven, James (Diane); grandchildren Emily (Blake) Reimer, Genevieve Nolan, David Nolan, Kenneth and Matthew; great-grandchild Imogen Reimer; nephew Rev. Scott (Elizabeth) Peterson of Vallejo, CA, and many nephews and nieces.
Private memorial for immediate family to be scheduled. Dorothy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who lived to the end with grace and spirit. She will be greatly missed and held in our hearts forever. The family wishes to thank Pillars Hospice staff for the exceptional care she received during her nearly one-year stay.
