Obituary of Roselyn E. Getchell

Roselyn E. Getchell, age 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1st, 2017. She grew up in Glenwood, Minnesota, and then she lived in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Roselyn was preceded in death by her husband, David; son, Edward; parents, Edward and Mildred Tauber; parent in-laws, Ella (Louie); sibling-in-laws, Gloria, Shirley and Dwight; and nephew, Mike. She is survived by her children, Judy and Richard; 2 granddaughters, Kelly and Trisha (Oscar); 6 great-grandchildren, Oscar Jr, Crystal, Audriana, Jeremiah, Mayra and Cristian; 5 siblings, Nancy (Mike), Dennis (Lou), Joe (Carol), Mark (Karen) and Angie (Bill); sibling-in-laws, Ralph and Marion (Dick). She had a very close cousin, Priscilla, and a very good friend, Barb, and many other family members and friends. Family was very important to her. Roselyn loved history and her pigs; she had so many of them in her house and her room at the nursing home. She was sick for a very long time, but she is finally free from the pain. Memorial Service on Friday, May 12th, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Beaver Lake Estates, 2425 Maryland Ave E., Maplewood, Minnesota 55119. A private burial will take place at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
