Dear Shelly, Steve,Shirley and all of your family's,
Jean held a very special place in my heart. I am so glad Dave and I were able to spend time with her this past month. She was very supportive of me through several distressing events in my life and I appreciated her consul and insight. All my friends who met her were jealous that I had such a cool aunt. There was no beating around the bush with Jean. She told it like it was. When Dave and I would visit her we would leave happier then when we came, not always the case when visiting someone in a nursing home. She will remain a role model for me in how to age gracefully,staying engaged with life and maintaining her sense of humor and interest in the world around her until the end.
We lost an unforgettable lady.
My sincere sympathy to all. I am sorry I won't be able to attend her memorial but I will treasure our last visit . Gloria
