Obituary of Violet May Joy Parsons

Violet May Joy Parsons died peacefully on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the age 94. Violet was born and lived on St. Paul's Eastside. She was preceded in death by her brother, Allen. Vi is survived by her sister, Gladys Peterson; and beloved nieces and nephews. Vi graduated from Johnson High School, worked at First Bank and then 3M where she became an executive secretary. She served in the Naval Reserve, received BEd from the University of Minnesota, then her Master's from Hamline University. She taught Special Ed in St Paul Public Schools for 29 years. Funeral Service 11:00AM on Thursday, June 7th, 2018 at Christ Lutheran on Capitol Hill, 105 University Ave W., Saint Paul, Minnesota with visitation at beginning at 10:00AM. Memorials preferred to Christ Lutheran on Capitol Hill.
