Obituary of Julia Catherine Breezee
Longtime East Side Resident, September 3, 1936 – June 2, 2018
Gathering on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106, at 4:00 p.m., Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. and dinner following service, catered by The Little Oven (Mom’s favorite restaurant) and cookies ~ it’s only appropriate as she loved homemade cookies.
Julia Catherine (Seeger) Breezee passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Born in Boyceville, Wisconsin.
Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Lester Breezee; brothers, Harry (Betty) Seeger, Helmer (”Ted”) Seeger, Eldon (“Babe”) Seeger, Norman (Barbara) Seeger, Frederick Seeger; and sisters, Marian (Albert) Burmester and Nancy Seeger; brother-in-law, Donald Jaeger; grandchild, Melissa Chavie; and great-grandchild, Cameron Schneider.
She will be deeply missed by daughters, Cynthia (Richard) Holland, Louise (Randy) Currey and Susan (Paul) Chavie; and their families, grandchildren, Jeremy Breezee, Crystal Breezee and Charlene (Thomas) Jackson, Melanie (James Hartigan) Currey, Colton Currey, Trevor (Jacquelyn) Currey, Chasidy (Kyle) Mack, Amanda (Matthew) Schneider, Adam Chavie; and great-grandchildren, Ren Mack, Brooklyn Schneider, Easton Currey; her sister, Barbara Jaeger; and her sister-in-laws Sharon, Pauline and Anne Seeger.
She loved to bake such things as cookies for her grandchildren, and lefse for Christmas to only name a few. She taught her family how to play many games from cards to farkle and cribbage. She loved putting together puzzles with family and friends. After Vernon retired, she began work at Rivertown Trading where she met some wonderful friends. She enjoyed her correspondence of letters and cards from family and friends. She also enjoyed going on trips with family to the casinos. Her home was always filled with pictures and love.
