Obituary of Marian Sax Whiting

Long-time North Oaks Resident, Marian Sax Whiting, passed away at United Hospital, St. Paul on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 subsequent to battling several medical difficulties. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest & LuDean Sax of Eureka & Bountiful, UT, respectively; sister, Bethine (Harris) Bernhisel of Bountiful, UT; brother, Ernest V Sax of Salt Lake City; stillborn sister, Carol; nephew, Rhet Bernhisel of Richfield; and niece, Debra Hall of Kaysville, UT. Marian is survived by her husband, F. Douglas Whiting, M.D. of North Oaks; sons, Gregory and Christopher of Eagan & Vadnais Heights, respectively; sister, JoAnn S Manley of Renton, WA; sister, Jeanine S (M Curtis) Jensen of Bountiful, UT; numerous nieces & nephews.

Marian is renown as an immaculate housekeeper, gardener, party-giver, luncheon & dinner hostess. She has enjoyed vacations to the Hawaiian Islands, Bahamas, Marguerita, Ixtapa, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Miami & Sanibel, FL.

Visitation from 4:00-8:00pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), Saint Paul, Minnesota, with a private family memorial service & interment at Incarnation Lutheran Cemetery, Lino Lakes.
