Obituary of Ian Michael Maloney
Ian Michael Maloney passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 with family at his side.
Ian was born in St. Paul to Patrick Maloney & Deborah Bowman. Growing up he lived with his parents, Rick & Deborah. He graduated and then attended Century College. He worked at Strauss, Ma-Ma's Pizza, Poolside, Diva's and Tom's Mobil. Ian was a dedicated and selfless father of 3, a loving husband, a beloved Son, a caring brother, and a kind and generous friend to many. He married his love, Skye, August 29th, 2015. He was a proud father of his children, Wyatt, Wolfric and Zendria. Ian was honored to become an Ironworker with his brother, Chris, into Local Union 512. His smile lit up every room he entered, and his thoughtfulness knew no bounds. He always put the needs of others before his own, and was always willing to help anyone, even those he didn't know. He could make anyone laugh, and a conversation had so much more life when he was involved. The world lost a very bright, loving light July 13, 2018. Ian, you will always be remembered, never forgotten.
Ian was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald, Muriel, Budd & Frieda; father-in-law, Doug; cousin, Mario; and brother, Aaron. Ian is survived by his wife, Skye; sons, Wyatt and Wolfric; daughter, Zendria; parents, Rick & Deborah Bowman, Patrick (Cindy) Maloney; mother-in-law, LeAnne (Tom); brother, Christopher (Kelly) Maloney; sisters, Lindsey (Ike) Carey, Carli (Casey) Lombardi, Lisa Herman, Angelica (Dave) Giddings; sister-in-law, Nacori Lyons; grandparents, Ronald (Judy) Smith, Donna (Mark) Lesch; many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, friends, and brother ironworkers.
