Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
 

Preceded in death by parents, Ella & Edd Moen; brothers, Russell & Orvell. Survived by her daughters, Janice (Dennis) Peterson of Maplewood and Lynne Mechelke of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Ryan (Miki) Mechelke & Kristi (Mark) Kramer of Arizona; Julie Peterson & Andrew Peterson of Maplewood; great-grandchildren, Abbie LeRaine, Andrew & Alex Kramer; Jensen & Emerson Mechelke.

LeRaine grew up on a farm in Spring Valley, WI where she taught country school and later completed her teaching degree at River Falls College. She and her daughters moved to Maplewood, MN to begin a 33 year teaching career in Dist. 622 at Gladstone School. Since 1953 LeRaine was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was especially close to the ORLC Quilters, her Circle, and “The Sisters of the Skillet."

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1390 Larpenteur Ave E, St. Paul with visitation 1 hour before the service. Special thanks to her HealthEast Hospice team for their loving care and to many friends and staff at the Shores of Lake Phalen. Memorials preferred to the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
