Bruce and I had the privilege of getting to know Gordy and Bonnie from church. They got us interested in going to China after our retirement. We spent 10 years in China and Gordy and Bonnie even visited us there.
I valued our relationship; especially in prayer for each other these past years as we were separated by miles.
I pray for God's peace for each of you. Bonnie is again with Gordy.
In the precious name of Jesus

I am so privileged to have known Bonnie, she is a great friend, always a smile and kindness for my heart. Recently, we had a rare 10 minutes to just catch up in the hallway at church, thank you God for that blessing, especially now when I will have to wait till I too reach our Heavenly home for our next visit.
Jesus, please carry her children and grands and great grands, and extended family and all of us who are her brothers and sisters in Christ who feel like part of our heart is missing. Amen

We are so sorry and shocked to hear that Bonnie passed away. We just called her about 2 weeks ago and had a good chat with her. We marvel at how she kept up with what her children and grandchildren are doing. She ended our conversation by reminding there is a bed waiting for us in her home. Indeed we have enjoyed that bed many times for visit and even for when John recuperated from surgeries. She and your dad were like parents to us because they treated us as their own children. They are especially special to Nellie because she has known them since they were missionaries in Hong Kong. We will always remember their kindness and generosity. Both of them have fought a good fight, finished the race well, and have kept their faith. They are our role model of humble, loving, and faithful servants of God. Even though we miss them, we are thankful they are now with the Lord.

Hello, I am a close friend of Bonnie's granddaughter Kristin. I wanted to share how beautiful it has been to hear Kristin talking about her grandmother since we met about 5 years ago. Bonnie seemed to be such a devoted follower of Jesus that touched all she came into contact with in a special way. I know Kristin very much looked up to her grandmother. She lived her life with purpose and a deep faith that she was here on mission to Love God and others. Just knowing Bonnie through Kristin's stories, I have been richly blessed. What a beautiful legacy of faith and family she is leaving after her. May the Lord bless you all as you remember and honor her life. I know I have been blessed. In Christ, Tami Loshaw, Idaho

Bonnie was such a special person! She made everyone feel so special and she deeply cared about each person! I remember years ago when the Addingtons would stop in CA to visit when they were coming home from Hong Kong on furlough or returning to Hong Kong. I thought their large family was fabulous!
Bonnie was my second cousin and she was a joy to visit with on my trips to MN. She was always so concerned about my Mom who battled MS. As life can send us on various difficult journeys, at those times, Bonnie encouraged me that she was praying for me.
From time to time, Bonnie and I would exchange emails. Last May she contacted me wanting to know if I had an address for a friend of hers in CA who had been one of their faithful supporters ... she said she had been thinking about her and just wanted to tag base again to thank her for their faithful support! I told Bonnie that her request was very timely as in a couple days I was flying to CA and I would try to find out the information for her. The Fullerton Free Church is a large church with several services ... but I did run into our mutual friend that Sunday! When I contacted Bonnie ... She commented in typical Bonnie reaction "Now isn't that just like our Lord!".
Losing a much loved Mother is hard ... but knowing she is alive and well in Heaven, makes the loss easier! What a Reunion she has already had with so many loved ones! But I'm sure her greatest joy was to hear our Lord say to her Well done, my good and faithful servant! Welcome Home Bonnie! Until we meet again ...
Love, Patti Nygren Bunje Chinnock

We have so many memories of this very special lady. There are so many from the first time we became parents to the day we had to tell her we were moving to AZ. She looked at us and said we hadn't got permission to move. We prayed we cried and than we moved. Your family has always been very special to us. Love you all
