Obituary of Darlene L. Jutz

Darlene L. Jutz, age 71, died Friday, January 11th, 2019 in Little Falls at her home, Saint Otto's Care Center. She enjoyed rural and city life having grown up in Pierz. She married Edwin Jutz in 1969 and together they moved to the cities. They were blessed with daughter, Trisha, in 1975. Darlene & family enjoyed trips. She loved adventure walks, and native cultural sites and artifacts. Darlene's home was full of humor, games, and great food. She was a strong and smart woman who always knew exactly what she wanted. She put family and care first, but led by example in always being honest of her needs. There was a quiet power in these traits, but a frightening power in her speed and accuracy while completing expert level crossword puzzles.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Veronica Brausen; husband, Edwin; 3 infant children, Chad, Melissa, and Jeremy; brothers-in-law, Leo and Joe Jutz; and father & mother-in-law, Ray & Helen Jutz.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Trisha; grandchildren, Amanda and Justin; great-granddaughter, Audrey; brother, Marvin (Arlene) Brausen of Bowlus; brother & sisters-in-law, Laura (Sam) Seelen of Buckman, Irene (Ben) Trettel of Bowlus, Carol Seelen of Michigan, Al Jutz of Massachusetts; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation begins at 10:30AM, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM on Monday, January 21st, 2019 at St. Mary's Church, 305 4th St SE, Little Falls, Minnesota 56354. Luncheon to follow. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
