Charles “Chuck” Manly, 83, of Walker, formerly of Robbinsdale, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at his home. Chuck was born July 2, 1935, in Minneapolis, the first of four children, to Clifford & Lorrayne Manly. In 1958 he married Helen Tausch in Walker, MN. After serving in the US Air Force, he worked for the Minneapolis Police Department for 27 years; retiring a Sergeant. Chuck was a member of both Masonic Lodges 265 and 302, as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Robbinsdale and Walker. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Helen. He is survived by children, Craig and Jenny (Steve) Faffler; grandchildren, Libby, Anna and Chelsey, also loved by Emily and Nick; sisters, Peggy Foer, Casey Eisenbise and Ginny (Leo) Jarombek; and many nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15th, at the Lake May Center (Senior Center), 508 S. 8th St., Walker. Lunch to follow.
