Keith was the first and the best boss I had at 3M. He was incredibly ethical, knowledgeable, professional and kind. He was like a father to me. A man that exemplified what a great human being can strive to be like. I know Heavenly Father is holding him close. My deepest condolences to you Marcie and your beautiful family.

Keith hired me to 3M 20 years ago....I'm pretty sure I was the last person he hired prior to retiring. He was a fantastic boss, mentor, leader, and friend. I most enjoyed his infectious laugh, zeal for Chinese restaurants and the devotion to take me to ever last one of them during our lunch breaks, his enjoyment of his coworkers, and the free giving of himself to the people around him. I'm heartbroken to hear of his passing but am privileged and overjoyed to have been a small part his life.

My heart sank today when I read this. I had been thinking about Keith all last week as I wanted to see if we could get together for our annual Chinese lunch. I wanted to share my Ireland pictures from 2 weeks ago.
I knew Keith for most of our 3M careers and felt fortunate that we were together for the last couple of years before we retired.
My sincere condolences to Marcy and family during this difficult time . I am forwarding this to our mutual friend Masamichi Ueno , as we always tried to get together when he visited his daughter in Stillwater. I'm still driving school bus and am glad that I will be able to make it to the celebration of his life.

Marcie & Family, my sincerest condolences and hugs to you all. Keith was soooo proud of you all. I worked with and for Keith for many years and still to this day had lunch with him and a couple other friends/coworkers. He was one of the kindest, funniest, life-loving, people-loving, sweetest, people I know. He couldn’t wait to show off all of you through pictures he would bring to nearly every lunch! Lunches will never be the same ... I will miss him greatly.

Marcia and family,
We extend our deepest sympathy and love during this time of grief. May the Lord keep your family in his arms of peace and comfort.
Keith was such a loving person. I served with him for many years on the board of Family Values for Life. He was the Board Chair for many years and he led by example. The two of you would open up your home to us as a board for our annual Christmas celebrations.
Keith was also a man with a great sense of humor. He knew of my love for Magnolia's restaurant chicken; I remember one year during a silent auction, there was a gift certificate for Magnolia's that he kept egging me on to watch the bid. It ended up where I was upping the bid against one person and it ended up being Keith who won the bid with the intent of giving me the gift certificate. This story only means the world to me, because Keith would always know that if we're having something catered Magnolia's is always my first choice.
With love and admiration for a man who's heart was filled with love...........Otis and Lucy Zanders
