Willie was a kind and thoughtful person with a great sense of humor - he always kept me on my toes in the classroom.
The first day I had Willie in class, 11th grade U.S. History, Governor Walz (who was a history teacher) was touring Washington and visited our classroom. The Governor threw out a question to the class and Willie answered and ‘knocked it out of the park’ and made us all look good! That’s the kind of person he was.
Willie was a good student, a loyal friend and loved to make people laugh. I will always remember his laugh and big smile.
