Ethel Marian (Bernstrom) Skoog was born in Lancaster, Minnesota, on October 21, 1928. She passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 91. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Skoog; brothers, Melvin, Allen, Efford, Waldo, and Harold Bernstrom; and sisters, Idie Bernstrom Erickson and Amy Bernstrom Erlandson. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Skoog of Columbia Heights; son, Tim (Kelli) Skoog of Richfield; daughter, Kathy (Marshall) Johnston of McAllen, TX; grandson, B. J. (Lexi) Skoog of Prior Lake; granddaughter, Stephanie (Kyle) Wahlund of Richfield; granddaughter, Mary (Landon) Hebison of Belton, TX; granddaughter, Melissa Johnston of Killeen, TX; grandson, Matthew Johnston of Mary Esther, FL; great-granddaughter, Charlotte of Belton, TX; and brothers, Vince (Jean) Bernstrom of Hampton, VA, Edsel (Gaye) Bernstrom of Renville, MN, and Gordon (Kathy) Bernstrom of Lancaster, MN. Ethel was a gentle and wise soul who was loved by all. Visitation for friends and family will be on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 N. Arcade Street (Hwy 61) in Saint Paul. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 2:00pm at LifePoint Church, 2220 Edgerton Street, in Maplewood.
