I am one of Karl's neighbors and he and Virginia came to our house for our annual National Night Out party. I made a point of stopping to talk to Karl as I walked my dog by his house. He always told me how beautiful he thought my dog was. He did like long conversations! I spoke to him last fall before we left to spend the winter in Florida. He was still so sad and missing Virginia. He was very unhappy about the political climate in this country and we commiserated about it all. I am sorry to learn of his passing but know he will be happy to be reunited with Virginia.
