Lori, We just heard this morning about the passing of your wonderful husband . We so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how you are feeling right now. You and Mark , and your whole family are in our thoughts and prayers. Please know we are here for you. I hope we can see you soon. You and Bob had a very special marriage. My wife Jackie and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Although we did not know Bob or Lori well we wanted to express our sympathy. Bob was our son Brad's best man at his wedding last July.

We will always remember and credit Bob for his championing of the preservation of the West Wing of the former Gillette Children's Hospital as a member if the District 5 Council's task force. It is now the home of the Minnesota Humanities Commission. He may have even been the chair. (If only Ray Sammons were here to tell us. ) We also applaud his creation of a D5 Council monthly award for"most improved/most pleasing home.

Bob, I miss you. I am so glad we had a little time together for lunch recently. As always, you were full of life and a positive spirit. You are one of the smartest and kindest people I have ever met. Your abilities were useful in business and HR, but really, I am so glad that I can count myself as one of many many friends that you helped as well. I hope you will forgive me that I wasn't as good a friend as you. It was an honor to speak at your Hall of Fame ceremony and recent birthday celebration, but I really should have spoke for 25 hours, not 25 minutes about you. Even recently, I found out something new about you. Your diversity of talents and experiences was an inspiration for me, but I keep coming back to one word .... "kind". I will miss you and look forward to trying to join you in that big golf course in the sky. Love you Bob. Please say hi to the Good Lord for me.
